Privacy Policy
Version 2.0 · effective 20 September 2026
This notice describes how AntiGPT, operated by Vitalik Technologies ("we"), handles personal information when you use antigpt.app. It is written to be read, not skimmed. If anything here is unclear, email support@antigpt.app.
What we collect
Account data: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and avatar as provided by Google. Usage data: word counts, plan and payment records, and technical logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) needed to run and secure the service. Your text: the drafts you submit for rewriting or detection.
How we use your text
Your text is sent to a third-party rewriting service to produce the result, and to a detector service when you request a scan. It is never used to train models. With history switched on (the default), we store your rewrites so you can return to them; switching history off in Settings stops saving new ones and deletes prior history within 30 days. Text is never included in our analytics or logs.
Who we share with
Supabase (authentication and database, EU region), Koyeb (application hosting), the rewriting and detector providers named above (your submitted text only), Stripe and Paystack (payments: we never see your card number), PostHog (product analytics and session recordings, which mask what you type, your drafts and rewrites, and your account details), Google Analytics (aggregate traffic statistics), and our email providers (transactional and account email). We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
You can export your data or delete your account from Settings, or by emailing support@antigpt.app; we act within 30 days. EU/UK and California residents have the rights set out in the GDPR and CCPA respectively, including access, correction, deletion and objection; contact us to exercise them.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in sessions and, with consent where required, analytics cookies. We do not run advertising on the app or landing pages.
